Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation’s new character to launch worldwide simultaneously for the first time 

DMM Games and Koei Tecmo have announced that the latest Venus to be added to Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation will be released simultaneously in the Japanese and global versions. The mysterious new Venus will be revealed during a stream scheduled for June 27 at 4 AM (PT). 

A simultaneous release of new content across all versions is a first for DOAXVV, and it seems this was a last-minute decision, as told by the game’s management team on X and reported by NoisyPixel. While delays between the international and domestic versions have been the norm up until now, the management has decided to change their approach to avoid player dissatisfaction. 

The special stream will feature Koharu’s VA Maria Naganawa as well as Reina Kondo, who will be voicing the new Venus. As well as revealing information about the new character, the stream will also include a swimsuit photo session, a live voice-acting corner and a lottery for in-game items. 

According to the stream’s preview on YouTube, the announcements will be made in Japanese and Chinese, however English will be included on the slides shown throughout the stream.
