Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 soundtrack tops 33 million streams worldwide

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has reached another symbolic milestone - its original soundtrack has been streamed over 33 million times.

Given how captivating Clair Obscur: Expedition 33’s music is, it’s no surprise that Lorien Testard’s 154-track score has amassed a total of 33 million streams across multiple platforms. After being discovered through his SoundCloud profile, Testard was recruited to provide the soundtrack for arguably one of the best turn-based RPGs this year.

From somber, thought-provoking tracks like “Alicia” and “Lumière” to more lighthearted, JRPG-like tunes such as “Monoco” and “Gestral Village – Gestral Merchant,” each song is a treat for the ears and matches the scenes it is used in. Despite not having worked on a video game soundtrack prior to Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (source: BBC), Testard was more than willing to collaborate with game director Guillaume Broche on the latter’s passion project.

You can listen to the Clair Obscrur: Expedition 33 soundtrack on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, YouTube Music, Bandcamp, Amazon Music, iTunes Store, Deezer, SoundCloud, and Tidal

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is available for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X|S.
