Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 nominated as one of Domino’s Pizza UK’s top 3 games of the year

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has received a GOTY nomination by none other than Domino's Pizza, alongside Oblivion Remastered and Kingdome Come Deliverance 2.

While it’s always nice to be recognized by your peers, receiving acknowledgement from those completely outside your field is always appreciated. Such is the case of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which has recently become game of the year material not just for Shift Up CEO and Stellar Blade director Hyung-Tae Kim, but also for Domino’s Pizza UK.

The manager of the Domino’s Pizza UK Facebook page must really like RPGs, as The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered and Kingdom Come: Deliverance II accompany Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 as the pizza chain’s top 3 game of the year contenders. Despite not being a medieval-like, open-world game created by an already-established studio, it’s nice to see Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 find its own spot among some of this year’s biggest games.

Publisher Kepler Interactive is appreciative of Domino’s Pizza UK’s game of the year nomination and has already thanked it for supporting the game. While Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 does not have any in-game pizzas, five of the six playable characters have baguette outfits that strap a French loaf of bread onto their backs.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is available for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X|S.
