Capcom’s The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles tops 1 million global sales
Capcom updated their “Platinum Titles” list on May 22 to include The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles. Since its release in July 2021, the title has accumulated over 1 million worldwide sales.
The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is a compilation re-release that includes The Great Ace Attorney: Adventures from 2015 and The Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve from 2017. The re-release brought the Nintendo 3DS/Switch-exclusive titles to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PC (Steam), with HD graphics and a new auto-advancing story mode.
Back in April 2022, Capcom had announced that The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles had passed the 500,000 mark, and it seems that the compilation hasn’t lost its momentum. The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is the second release in the Ace Attorney series to make it onto Capcom’s Platinum Titles list, joining Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy, which has sold over 3.3 million units since its release in February 2019.
It looks like the Ace Attorney series has a long future ahead of it, as its developers have commented that they hope to see the series celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2026, as well as its 30th anniversary in 2031.
The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is available for the PC (Steam), PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
