The Game Awards 2025 just kicked off, and Capcom’s long-anticipated new game Pragmata just got a release date – April 24, 2026. It was also announced that, in addition to Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox series X|S, the game will launch on Nintendo Switch 2. Currently, a demo is available exclusively on Steam, with opportunities to try out the game on other platforms to be announced soon.

Pragmata is a science fiction action-adventure, and a brand-new IP from Capcom. Following the story of Hugh and his companion Diana, the game combines third person shooting elements with puzzle gameplay. Playing as the two protagonists, you must make your way through a lunar research station, using both brains and brawn.
While this sounds like the perfect premise for a co-op game, the title is surprisingly single-player, which means you’ll have to learn how to use both characters simultaneously and polish both your combat and your hacking skills. As the developers explained in a recent interview, “Our primary goal with Pragmata was to deliver a new kind of gameplay experience. We leaned fully into the ‘busy-ness’ and fun that comes from one player simultaneously dealing with both the action and the puzzles, and that led us to the game’s current form.”
Pragmata is set to launch in 2026 for PC (Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X❘S, and Nintendo Switch 2. A demo is currently available on Steam.
