Capcom reveals conditions for unlocking Terry Bogard in Street Fighter 6’s World Tour mode

While most Street Fighter 6 players are eagerly anticipating Terry Bogard’s release on the game’s Battle Hub and Fighting Ground multiplayer modes, they shouldn’t forget that the character will also be appearing in the World Tour single-player experience. Capcom recently revealed the prerequisites to meet Terry in World Tour, which requires a good deal of progress in the story.

To meet Terry in World Tour, players must become Ryu’s disciple and complete Chapter 11-4. Getting enrolled into Ryu’s world warrior regime is fairly easy as players will meet him in Chapter 8-4: Big in Japan while completing photo requests for a mysterious contact known only as Asterisk. After mistakenly taking a photo of Japanese fighter E. Honda in Metro City, players will be directed by Asterisk to a new location: Genbu Temple, Japan. Traveling here will allow them to meet Ryu, take a photo with him, and become his disciple.

Rudra in Street Fighter 6

Completing Chapter 11-4: To Evil’s Zenith is just as easy as becoming Ryu’s disciple, although it will take more time to get to this point in the story. Defeating Rudra – the leader of The Crows gang – will allow players to represent Metro City in the succeeding Tournament of Outlaws. More importantly, defeating him increases players’ reputation to the point where they are known throughout the city.

Once these two steps have been completed, accessing the “One Fateful Day” option from the player character’s hangout in Metro City will begin the Knock Out Festival event. It is here where players can meet Terry Bogard, become his disciple, and engage in his World Tour content. Since the requirements to access Terry in World Tour are a bit time-consuming, Capcom advises players that they can complete the steps before Terry’s launch on September 24. Street Fighter 6 already has a ton of free and premium SNK-related content available thanks to the “Terry Arrives” Fighting Pass, so players can wet their whistles long before the Legendary Hungry Wolf starts busting wolves in Metro City.
