Bloodborne-Wiki is being managed by a single person
While most video game wikis nowadays are overseen by various people, Bloodborne-Wiki (not to be confused with the Fandom or Fextralife websites of the same name) is managed by a single person. Edited and run by Mephistophea (also known as Meph), Bloodborne-Wiki is a passion project that collates everything related to FromSoftware’s 2015 game Bloodborne. Aside from the general guides and lore, the website includes artwork, unreleased content, tips related to character builds, and much more.
Bloodborne-Wiki is a continuation of Bloodborne News – Meph’s first project, which compiled every news piece and rumor related to the then-unreleased game. Bloodborne News was created on June 11, 2014, and archived on March 19, 2015. But before it ended, Meph’s idea to create Bloodborne-Wiki already started to form. With his experience working on Demon’s Souls Wikidot and Bloodborne News, Meph created Bloodborne-wiki on February 22, 2015.
According to Meph, the first few months of Bloodborne’s release were the most hectic. Information from various sources was pouring in and it wasn’t until a year later that he could take the time to appreciate the work put into the wiki. Meph still enjoys working with the Bloodborne community and on the wiki they created together.
To be clear, Bloodborne-Wiki isn’t the result of a single person’s work. Various contributors poured their heart and soul into creating something that Bloodborne players will find useful. While you can support Bloodborne-Wiki via Meph’s Ko-fi page, Meph says that the best way to help the website is to use it whenever you need information regarding Bloodborne. Considering more players like Kai Cenat are visiting the city of Yharnam for the first time, it seems like Bloodborne-wiki is about to get more traffic in the coming days.
