Bleach Brave Souls coming to Xbox and Nintendo Switch with some tweaks 

KLab recently announced that their 3D action game Bleach Brave Souls will be released on Nintendo Switch and Xbox consoles this summer. The game based on the popular Bleach manga and anime was originally released on mobile platforms in 2015, later making its way on to PC and PS4. A new achievements system will also be added to all versions of the game. 

Bleach Brave Souls is a free-to-play fast-paced action game with gacha and RPG elements that allows players to unlock hundreds of collectable characters and level them up. Since its initial release it has garnered positive reviews and has been downloaded over 90 million times. 

In the May 28 announcement, KLab also explained that Bleach Brave Souls will be getting a new achievements system in the near future. This upcoming feature will give players special points for completing various challenges. Players will then be able to unlock so-called “Brave Bonuses” which will give players permanent effects that will make it easier for them to play the game. These include effects that allow the player to periodically receive useful items such as Spirit Orbs, Essence Scrolls and Super Link Slot Potions. The upper limit on the number of times certain quests can be cleared can also be raised by Brave Bonuses.  

A new gacha event will be held from May 31 until June 15. It will feature Thousand-Year Blood War 2024 versions of Masaki Kurosaki and Isshin Shiba. One of the featured 5-star characters will be guaranteed every five Steps until Step 20. On Step 25, players will receive a ticket that can be used to claim one of the new characters of their choosing.

Earlier this month, KLab also announced that they are working on a brand new casual hybrid game based on the Bleach anime.
