Atmos and Puma collaborate on Persona 3 Reload sneakers
Fans of Persona 3 and stylish footwear have reason to celebrate as Puma and Japanese streetwear company Atmos have teamed up to produce sneakers with a distinctive Persona 3 Reload design. Titled “Puma Palermo P3R Atmos,” the shoes feature elements from this year’s remake of the 2006 classic Atlus RPG.
Predominantly white with a black sole and red tongue, the Puma Palermo P3R Atmos features the words “Mass Destruction” in black on the outer side. “Mass Destruction” refers to the in-game text that appears whenever the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (SEES) finishes a battle with an All-Out Attack. It is also the title of the game’s main battle theme that gets you pumped every time a Shadow attacks.
On the bottom of the sole is the word “SEES” in bright red, which is the name of the group of Persona users at Gekkoukan High School that investigate Tartarus and the Dark Hour (the group’s full name can be seen on a red tag that comes with the shoes). While it is unlikely that people will be able to see this text unless you are about to step on them, it is a nice nod to Persona 3’s main protagonists.
The Puma Palermo P3R Atmos is priced at 16,500 Japanese Yen (roughly 110 USD) and will initially be sold via a lottery ticket system starting December 9 before becoming available for general purchase on December 24 via the Atmos webpage and physical stores.
Post translation: [#P3R Goods Information] The final design of the Persona 3 Reload collaboration sneakers has finally been revealed! Japanese brand Atmos will be collaborating with Puma, one of the world’s leading sports brands, to create the shoe! The development staff of Persona 3 Reload is also involved, resulting in a stylish design that is characteristic of the game!
Details on the Atmos and Puma Persona 3 Reload collaboration go back as far as August 2024. To ensure the Puma Palermo P3R Atmos’s authenticity, the development staff at Atlus was involved in creating the shoe’s design. These aren’t the exact shoes that the SEES members wear in-game (those would just be plain school shoes, heels, and boots), but they are much cooler and represent the unique style the Persona series is known for.
