Atlus is looking for a new producer for the Persona team, job listing suggests

Persona and Shin Megami Tensei series developer Atlus recently updated the job listings on their official recruitment homepage. As spotted by Game*Spark, the company appears to be looking to add a new producer to the Persona series development team.

According to the latest listing, titled “Producer (Persona Team),” Atlus’ Persona team needs a person who has previous experience with console and AAA games to oversee future game production and project management. The company is looking for a candidate with experience working in a team of over 30 people. Numerous listings for the same position can be found across major Japanese recruitment sites.

Atlus released Persona 3 Reload in February this year and has yet to announce any other Persona-related releases, but the studio seems to be preparing something. Persona team’s chief director Kazuhisa Wada has previously commented that their mid-to-long-term plan very much includes new numbered entries to the series (source: IGN), foreshadowing a potential Persona 6. Of course, fans will have to wait until Atlus is ready to make an official announcement – although that hasn’t stopped recent social media discussions about what Persona title should be made next.
