Following the announcement of the anime adaptation of Kenkyūjo Sakuseki’s erotic comedy manga Ingoku Danchi on January 15, it was revealed on February 4 that Japanese actress Kana Yūki will be lending her voice to not one, but ten characters. The announcement caused some confusion among fans, leading the official Ingoku Danchi X account to clarify Yūki’s participation in the anime.
Post translation:
This is not a typo.
The entire original team behind Ingoku Danchi extends our gratitude to Kana Yūki, who kindly agreed to continue her work following the trailer that was released for the first volume of the manga!

Ingoku Danchi follows the story of Mamoru Yoshida, an unemployed high school graduate who finds himself running an apartment complex with his father. After receiving a complaint from a tenant regarding a resident named Watanabe, Mamoru initially brushes it off on account of the latter’s kind nature. His perception changes, however, when Watanabe attacks him one night dressed in skimpy clothing.
As it turns out, Watanabe was wearing a pair of magical clothing known as Libido Cloth, which causes whoever puts it on to lose control of their mind. Along with Watanabe and the other residents, most of whom are married, Mamoru aims to get to the bottom of the mystery of the Libido Cloth while trying to avoid any unforeseen 18+ rated accidents.
While Aika Wakuno will provide the Japanese voice of Mamoru (she played Emily in Tower of God and Yanari in Shabake), Kana Yūki will be voicing Watanabe, Katagiri, Ichinose, Mizutani, Sanamori, Kanzaki, Shikijō, Gōda, Sakakura, and Ikayama. Considering Yūki is playing as individual characters and not split personalities, her roles in the project are nothing short of impressive.

Translation:
I’m Kana Yūki, voicing Ms. Watanabe.
Ms. Watanabe is the first perverted married woman to appear in Ingoku Danchi. I wouldn’t be exaggerating to say she is the face of Ingoku Danchi’s.
So when I heard I was cast as Ms. Watanabe, I was truly shocked!
I’ll give it my all in this role!
As is customary with anime announcements, voice actors are usually expected to make brief comments about their upcoming roles. Not to be deterred, Yūki provided a comment for all ten of her characters, expressing her excitement at landing the roles and promising to give it her best.
Ingoku Danchi is set to premiere in April 2026.
