Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam). It’s scheduled to release in early fall 2022.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R is a remastered version of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle that was originally released on PlayStation 3 in 2013 in Japan, and in 2014 in the West. The remastered version will feature 50 characters from parts 1 through 8 of Hirohiko Araki’s original manga series, which is around 10 characters more than the original version. You can check out the roster from the Japanese official website.

Japanese voice actors from the current anime series will be featured, with new audio recordings from the cast of Part 6 characters like Jolyne Cujoh, who is now played by Fairouz Ai instead of the original version’s Miyuki Sawashiro.

According to PlayStation.Blog, the game will include All Star Battle Mode, Arcade Mode, Online Mode, Versus Mode, Practice Mode, and Gallery Mode. While the core gameplay experience remains the same, “The game design of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R reinvigorates the experience with adjustments to the fighting tempo and the addition of hit stops and jump dashes.”

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R is scheduled to release in early fall 2022 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam).
