Idea Factory and Compile Heart have teased a brand-new, numbered entry in the Hyperdimension Neptunia franchise. The announcement comes as the RPG series celebrates its 15th anniversary.
The latest mainline Neptunia title, Megadimension Neptunia VII, released back in 2015, so this new entry will restart the series after a pretty long break. Details about the new game will be announced on Thursday, March 19 at 9 PM (JST), via a livestream on the Compile Heart Official YouTube Channel.
In the meantime, the developers have launched an official teaser site dedicated to the new installment. At the time of writing, the site includes information on the upcoming broadcast, as well as sillhouette art of the characters that will be appearing in the game. According to Compile Heart, fans should look forward to recurring characters as well as some new faces. Below is a teaser video:
