Resident Evil Requiem: How to get the Grace and Goliath achievement

Here's what you need to do to unlock Resident Evil Requiem's Grace and Goliath achievement, with some handy tips.

As you explore the East Wing of the Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center in Resident Evil Requiem, you will come across a Chunk – a massive lugging monster that appears on the upper floor and starts roaming the area afterward. While you can defeat him and the zombie chef easily as Leon later on, killing him as Grace makes exploration easier and awards you with the “Grace and Goliath” achievement. Thankfully, killing this Chunk is easier once you realize he isn’t as mobile as other threats.

The Chunk can easily get stuck in doorways

Given his large frame, the Chunk takes some time to get through most doorways. Likewise, he cannot enter the Treatment Room and Blood Lab, and will eventually give up chasing you and turn away soon after.

Using this information, there are two ways to dispose of it.

Shoot the Chunk in the face with your Requiem Revolver

You can use your Requiem revolver and shoot him in the face until he dies (it requires roughly three shots for him to die on Standard difficulty). This straightforward method is best done while he is struggling to get through a doorway.

If you’re low on Requiem ammo, you can always craft some. By this time, you would have acquired the ID Wristband (Level 1) from the corpse where the Chunk spawns. Use the wristband on the locked door in the Waiting Room (located in the East Wing) and obtain the Blood Specimen (Converged). Take the blood specimen to the Blood Lab on the first floor of the East Wing or the Office on the second floor of the West Wing (the former area is closer), where you can analyze it to unlock the Med Injector and 12.7x55mm (Requiem) ammo crafting recipes.

To craft Requiem ammo, you’ll need one Rare Metal and 80 Infected Blood. Infected Blood can be found in buckets of blood and extracted from fallen enemies, while one Rare Metal can be found in a lockpick container in the East Wing Lobby (a Lockpick can be found in the Lead Researcher’s Office in the East Wing).

Wait for the Chunk to turn around and inject him with Hemolytic Injectors

If you want to save on Requiem ammo, Hemolytic Injectors are a more resource-savvy way to dispose of the Chunk. This method is a bit more specific, as it requires you to lead the enemy to either the Treatment Room or Blood Lab, where he cannot get you.

After the Chunk turns around after giving up the chase, quickly run up to him and stab him in the butt with an injector. He’ll become aggressive and start chasing you once more, which is the perfect time for you to hightail it back to the safety of the room you were just in. You can repeat this process until the Chunk explodes (it takes three Hemolytic Injectors to kill him on Standard difficulty).

Hemolytic Injectors require one Scrap and 60 Infected Blood to craft. You need the Blood Specimen (Denatured) from the Blood Lab in the East Wing to unlock the crafting recipe, which just so happens to be the place where you can analyze it.

Defeating the Chunk will make it drop the Eye Spy Charm, which increases the likelihood that you’ll survive fatal damage as long as you have it in your inventory. You’ll also get the “Grace and Goliath” achievement, which is why you’re here in the first place.

Resident Evil Requiem is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and Windows (Steam).
