MISHA, an upcoming indie FPS, has been making the rounds on social media lately, thanks to a viral video by Japanese developer G_A_man showcasing the game’s more titillating features. Given that one of the protagonists is an old man whose consciousness has been transplanted into a female-looking “sexyroid,” G_A_man animated the character’s breasts, which can be seen whenever the player looks down at their in-game model.

While initially a tech test, the video quickly became popular, with fans and press outlets like Game*Spark covering the game. As of February 25, MISHA has over 40,000 Steam wishlists.

Inspired by classic FPS titles such as Doom, Quake, and Duke Nukem 3D, MISHA puts players in the shoes of Misha and their hacker partner. Trapped in the body of a sexyroid, Misha and her partner must earn enough money to return the former’s body to normal. This gender swap dilemma puts the two’s relationship to the test, as the sexyroid’s effect on Misha’s mind has them questioning whether they remain work partners or become something more romantic.
While Misha’s gameplay revolves around completing missions whose core loop consists of running and gunning, their companion’s sections are about hacking into surveillance cameras to help them. Using the money earned from said missions, you’ll be able to acquire new weapons and hacking skills, as well as pay off the 10 billion JPY needed to bring Misha back to normal. Failing to secure the money will result in Misha remaining in a sexyroid body forever.
Though outdated, G_A_man officially expressed their excitement and embarrassment back when the game made 20,000 Wishlists, saying that while it may take some time for a playable demo, they hope that fans will be patient while they work on the game. They also shared some official artwork of MISHA’s protagonists, courtesy of art director Natsukaze Shigure:

MISHA is in development for Windows (Steam).
