Butt-controlled fighting game Ketsu Battler to welcome Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising’s Beelzebub as its first guest fighter

Ketsu Battler is on its way to become a serious fighting game, with its first guest character coming from Cygames' acclaimed GBVSR.

In what can only be described as an ass-tounding turn of events, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising antagonist Beelzebub will be coming to KAYAC’s Ketsu Battler butt-fighting game as its first guest character. Given his striking physique, it’s no wonder Cygames chose Beelzebub to promote the franchise over other well-established faces.

While Ketsu Battler is neither developed nor published by Cygames, the staff behind Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising was so impressed by the game’s “deep gameplay that they decided to host its first esports tournament on January 18, the same day Beelzebub is set to release as a free update. Given that Ketsu Battler is a game where players must twerk with a Joy-Con strapped to their backside, that is high praise coming from the co-developers of one of the most popular fighting games right now.

Ketsu Battler Beelzebub

Going back to Beelzebub, while other Ketsu Battlers use swords, axes, and other sharp weapons that are perfectly nestled between their butt cheeks, this villain uses the wings that sprout from his back. He can even be seen using Chaos Legion, his Super Skybound Art that causes a massive explosion on-screen.

Even so, his in-game model has him popping a squat like everyone else. Though Beelzebub towers over other fighters in Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, he seems quite small in Ketsu Battler, especially when paired against a massive gorilla.

Beelzebub is set to be released as free content for Ketsu Battler on January 18. The game is a Nintendo Switch exclusive.
