Street Fighter 6 is increasing the value of its Fighting Passes for Fighting Ground and Battle Hub players

Street Fighter 6's Fighting Ground and Battle Hub players will no longer get the short end of the stick when it comes to Fighting Passes.

Street Fighter 6 Fighting Passes have had more misses than hits. While World Tour and Avatar Battle fans enjoy a wealth of avatar cosmetics and emotes, Fighting Ground and Battle Hub players (who make up the majority of the player base) have tended to get the short end of the stick with character screen effects and titles. This is set to change with the upcoming Sagat Arrives! Fighting Pass onwards.

The avatar-specific cosmetics are here to stay, but new EX Colors for the main playable characters, character screen illustrations, and music tracks for fights will be added to incentivize Fighting Ground and Battle Hub players to pick up the monthly $ 5 USD Fighting Pass.

The Sagat Arrives! Fighting Pass, in particular, includes a variety of Sagat-themed avatar gear, titles, music, stickers, and an emote callback to Sagat’s walking animation from the original Street Fighter. As promised, the Fighting Pass has a new EX Color for Ryu’s Outfit 2 and Ken’s Outfit 3, as well as a new challenger screen effect for general use and one new challenger screen illustration each for Chun-Li and Zangief. Finally, the 1987 hack-and-slash title Tiger Road will be available to play via Street Fighter 6 Game Center.

While the Sagat Arrives! Fighting Pass still features a lot of avatar cosmetics, its shift to more balanced content for the World Tour, Battle Hub, and Fighting Ground modes alongside the new Outfit 4 content shows that Capcom is (slowly but surely) listening to its fanbase.

The Sagat Arrives! Fighting Pass will be available starting July 4 for Street Fighter 6, which is on PC (Steam), PS4/PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
