FromSoftware released Elden Ring Nightreign’s Ver. 1.01.3 update on June 18. This was followed by the announcement of The First Everdark Sovereign appearing in-game.
Originally hinted at a few weeks ago, the Everdark Sovereigns are enhanced versions of Nightreign’s existing Nightlords. These stronger, more challenging versions of the bosses will be released every week, with the first one being Gaping Jaw, an enhanced version of Adel, Baron of the Night. Gaping Jaw will be in Limveld from June 19 to June 26, and you can encounter this new enemy online only, after defeating his original Nightlord form.

According to publisher Bandai Namco, the Everdark Sovereigns are “extremely challenging,” equipped with new moves and increased power.
The next two Sovereigns to appear after Gaping Jaw are Sentient Pest and Darkdrift Knight. Other enchanced bosses such as Tricephalos, Augur, Equilibrious Beast and Fissure in the Fog will be added to Nightreign at an unconfirmed date.
Elden Ring Nightreign is available for PC (Steam), PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
