Independent game developer Voumik Nihar is in trouble as their PlayStation 4 game, Hentai Super Market Simulator, features character character models straight from miHoYo’s Zenless Zone Zero (as spotted by Game*Spark). While the shovelware title has since been removed from the PlayStation Store, the use of Zenless Zone Zero 3D models for commercial purposes is in direct violation of miHoYo’s terms of use.
To be clear, miHoYo is perfectly fine with people using some of its popular games’ 3D assets. The Chinese game developer and publisher periodically releases models from Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero and Honkai: Star Rail for download and use in the freeware animation program MikuMikuDance (MMD). However, you are not allowed to use the 3D models for profit – which is what Voumik Nihar did for Hentai Supermarket Simulator.

Hentai Supermarket Simulator takes gameplay elements from titles like Supermarket Simulator and includes more mature themes. As the owner of a “hentai shop,” you buy and sell adult animated content while maintaining and growing your establishment and clientele. One of the returning customers you can encounter is the player character Belle from Zenless Zone Zero. While she thankfully isn’t in a state of undress as the game’s title might imply, her unmodified model and the fact that she is buying hentai can rub some players the wrong way.
Zenless Zone Zero models aren’t the only assets being reused in Hentai Supermarket Simulator, as the game also uses hentai image covers and character models from other properties. Voumik Nihar is responsible for other asset flip games such as R.E.P.A. Operation and Gun Shop Simulator, many of which have since been removed from the PlayStation Store as Sony cracks down on the overwhelming amount of shovelware and hentai titles that plague the platform.
