Venus Vacation Prism – Dead or Alive Xtreme: How to increase the interest of each Venus

Tips on how to raise interest stats for each Venus in Venus Vacation Prism: Dead or Alive Xtreme.

Next to gaining Fans, which unlocks outfits and hairstyles, gaining the interest of the Venuses is the second way to unlock unique content in Venus Vacation Prism: Dead or Alive Xtreme. New dialogue choices and scenarios become available, culminating in the Prism Shower on the final day of the Venus Festival. The Venuses have their own preferences and personalities, but here are some tips to increase their overall interest in you:

Take as many photos as possible

As shy as some of them are, the Venuses love having their picture taken. Taking photos doesn’t just increase the number of Fans per Venus, it shows your interest in them as well. At the end of each chapter, you will be tasked with submitting up to six photos to the office for review. Based on the Points to Focus and whom you choose to feature in the pictures, you can gain more interest with certain Venuses faster.

Choosing the right responses is the quickest way to a Venus’s heart

The best way to increase a Venus’s interest is to spend time with her. It’s just Misaki at first, but the roster quickly grows to accommodate all six Venuses. As such, you have more time to spend with the girls who arrive at the Venus Islands earlier than those who come late.

No matter when the Venus you are interested in is introduced, you want to choose the appropriate responses based on her personality. Misaki is timid and isn’t a fan of too much teasing or overpraise (she will appreciate the occasional compliment, however). The ditzy Honoka loves talking about cute things and doesn’t take too kindly to sexy talk. Tamaki is more flirtatious than the other Venuses and doesn’t mind if you tease her or are more forward with your responses. Fiona, a princess who left her kingdom, is head over heels for you and appreciates just about anything you say. Nanami, Misaki’s childhood friend, loves photography and will take any chance to experience something new (taking her out to see the sights is recommended). Elise, your supervisor, appreciates it when you focus on improving the upcoming Venus Festival.

You’ll know you have increased a Venus’s interest in you when an icon depicting her face and a red heart symbol shows up on the top right side of the screen. Inversely, a decrease in interest is indicated by an icon showing the corresponding Venus and a blue heartbroken symbol. Different responses can increase or decrease interest to varying degrees (denoted by the number of hearts next to their icon), so it’s best to pay attention to conversations and your relationship with the Venuses.

You are required to prioritize certain Venuses at different points in the story

Venus Vacation Prism: Dead or Alive Xtreme’s story deviates at certain points, requiring you to choose from several scenarios. For instance, Chapter 7 has you choosing between whether to spend the day with Misaki or Nanami. Choosing to spend time with one girl will give you more opportunities to increase her interest in you while locking out any of the other girl’s interactions for that part of the chapter.

Since the game provides many chances and a New Game Plus mode to increase each Venus’s interest in you, you don’t have to worry about leaving a particular girl out. New Game Plus increases the rate at which you earn Fans and Venus interest, incentivizing new playthroughs. Venus Vacation Prism: Dead or Alive isn’t very long, so players will want to go through many runs to experience all the possible routes.

Venus Vacation Prism –Dead or Alive Xtreme– is available on PS4/PS5 and PC (Steam).
