Following Undertaleās massive discount during the Steam Spring Sale, Toby Fox happily revealed that the game reached a new concurrent player peak since it first launched in 2015. Thatās a lot of people playing an almost 10-year-old, single-player game.
When Fox checked SteamDBās statistics, Undertale had amassed a 10,739-player all-time peak – beating the previous record of 10,459 concurrent players from December 29, 2015. That number has since grown to 11,071 players, and is likely to keep growing while the game is on sale.
As Fox mentions in his X post, Undertale will still be on Steam’s Deep Discounts for a few more days. Those waiting for Deltarune Chapter 3 and 4 or those who havenāt played Undertale can indulge themselves by playing Foxās first game on Steam.
Undertale is available on macOS, Windows, Linux, PlayStation 4 and Vita, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.
