Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP’s next update will add English subs to Japanese voiceovers

Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP ’s upcoming update will make it even easier for players to enjoy the game in Japanese. Producer Yoshimi Yasuda recently revealed that the February patch will allow you to play the game with Japanese voices and English subtitles.

Since its release last September, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP has been letting players choose from four different voices for zombie-hunting cheerleader Juliet Starling. Players can pick between the original game’s English VA Tara Strong and Japanese VAs Eri Kitamura and Yoko Hikasa, as well as a brand-new voiceover by Yukari Tamura. This February, it will be even easier for non-Japanese speaking players to enjoy the Japanese performances of Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP’s characters, as the game will give you the option to play with Japanese voices and English subtitles.

The February update will also come with a Photo Mode that will let you capture that perfect shot of Juliet, and the Goth Girl outfit, which was a pre-order bonus/DLC for the original game. There will also be a new Nightmare mode, coming at a later date.

Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is available now for the PC (Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X❘S and Nintendo Switch
