Indie hit Helltaker’s creator to release new game Awaria alongside its soundtrack very soon
Fans of Lukaz Piskorz (aka Vanripper)’s free sexy demon puzzle game Helltaker have reason to rejoice as his newest game, Awaria, will be released before the year ends. Following the premiere of the game’s soundtrack on YouTube this Monday, December 16th, at 6 pm CET, Piskorz will release the game soon after.
After his absence from social media for half a year, Piskorz returned to X (formerly Twitter) stating that he needed to get up to speed with all the cool art he had missed. His next post was the announcement for Awaria, catching followers and fans by surprise.
Awaria’s Steam page reveals that it is a short game about “working in haunted maintenance tunnels.” Old generators need routine maintenance and it’s your job to fix them. You’ll need to assess the damage, craft the required parts, and bring them back to repair the broken generators.
Preventing you from doing your job are various workplace hazards like exposed electrical parts, fire-spewing machinery, and ghostly projectiles. Awaria’s levels are timed, so you must diligently manage your tasks while navigating dangerous obstacles.
Just like Helltaker, Awaria has some light sexy elements to it. While there are some suggestive clothing and poses, the game itself is tame. This time, however, it looks like you’ll have the opportunity to kiss a ghost instead of a demon.
Awaria’s music is composed by Mittsies, who provided the boppy score for Piskorz’s 2020 hit Helltaker. The game will also be completely free, so there’s no excuse to miss out on it!
