Nintendo is recruiting playtesters for mysterious new Nintendo Switch Online feature
Nintendo announced on October 10, 2024, that they are recruiting users from the USA, Japan and parts of Europe to test a mystery new feature for Nintendo Switch Online. Those wishing to take part in the test must be Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members.
The conditions for participating in the test are that the applicant must be at least 18 years old as of 7am (JST) on October 10, and must be registered in one of the following countries: Japan, the USA, the UK, France, Germany, Italy or Spain. Applications will be accepted until October 15. According to the announcement, Nintendo plans to select around 10,000 playtesters. Users in Japan will be selected by lottery, whereas users in Europe will be chosen on a first-come, first-served basis.

At the time of writing, it is not known what this new feature will be. Test participants will be asked to download special software onto their Switch. It will be interesting to find out when official announcements are made.
