Konami adds 3 more classic Yu-Gi-Oh! games to its upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection
Konami just revealed 3 more games that will be included in the upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection (Source: 4Gamer). The collection, packed with formerly Japan-exclusive Yu-Gi-Oh! games, will get a global launch on Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam).
On September 9, Konami announced that the following 3 games will be included in the compilation:
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters (Gameboy, 1998)
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters II: Dark Duel Stories (Gameboy and Game Boy Color, 1999)
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories (Game Boy Color, 2000)
This brings the total number of confirmed games in Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection up to five- as Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelists (Game Boy Color, 2000) and Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 6: Expert 2 (Game Boy Advance, 2021) were previously announced.
Although Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories got a release in North America and Europe back in the day, all the other games revealed so far were Japan-exclusives. They will finally be available outside Japan and in English for the first time when the Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection launches.
Konami plans to include over 10 titles in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection, so fans have more announcements to look forward to.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection is scheduled for a global release on Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam). At the time of writing, the release date is still TBA. Physical editions of the game will include a special Yu-Gi-Oh card.
