Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure online game in development again, set to release in 2026

KLab have resumed work on their licensed online game based on the Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure anime series. The game is set to launch worldwide (excluding Japan) on mobile platforms in 2026 (source: KLab).

The initial announcement of a new Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure game was made back in August 2020, when KLab first acquired distribution rights from the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Production Committee. As per a subsequent announcement from 2022, the project was initially supposed to be codeveloped by KLab and China-based Shengqu Games. However, work on the game was suspended “due to circumstances” involving the partnering developer.

Now, KLab has teamed up with Wanda Cinemas Games, which has previously published a mobile game based on the Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann IP in collaboration with Aniplex. Details regarding the Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure game, including its title, are to be revealed through future announcements.
