KLab announces new Bleach casual hybrid game for global market

A brand-new game based on the Bleach anime is in development, according to an announcement made on May 9. As reported by Famitsu, the licensed game is being developed by KLab. It has been revealed that it will have Japanese and English language support and is set for a worldwide release (excluding Mainland China).

Long-running manga and anime series Bleach has received numerous spin-off games across various platforms ever since 2005. The anime gained a resurgence in popularity with the adaptation of the manga’s final arc Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War, which began airing in 2022. Apparently, KLab’s upcoming title will be a hybrid casual game that will combine the simplicity of casual games with the mechanics of online games to provide players with many hours of gameplay.

KLab has a history with the franchise, having developed the multi-platform action game Bleach: Brave Souls (pictured above), as well as the mobile MMO title Bleach Soul Rising. It will be intriguing to see exactly what direction they are taking the new game in as more information becomes available.
