Reintegrate beautiful girls into society in this “NEET rehabilitation” game
Japanese developer CyberStep announced the release of Neet Girl Rehabilitation Plan. The upcoming title is planned to release on February 8 for the PC (Steam) and Nintendo Switch with support for 15 languages.
Neet Girl Rehabilitation Plan is an anime-style dating simulator/romantic visual novel centered around NEETS. The term NEET describes an individual not in employment, education or training and is, along with “shut-ins,” a prominent social phenomenon in Japan.
In Neet Girl Rehabilitation Plan, you assume the role of Yutaro Miki, a male “NEET rehabilitation officer” who, with a background in counseling, is tasked with helping three girls recover from living as NEETS and reenter society as working adults.
Feeling hopeless but pressured to succeed, Yutaro makes a desperate appeal to the NEET girls, offering to do anything in exchange for getting them to start job-hunting. This leads to the protagonist taking the girls out on dates as a reward, gradually leading to romance.
The three well-endowed NEET girls have different personalities and have isolated themselves from society due to various circumstances. Mei Natsume has a flashy outward appearance but is avoidant and passive, wishing to maintain the comfort of being unemployed. Kagami Yamitsuki is a “tsundere” college dropout who’s good at coming up with various excuses to reject any incoming job offers. Kaedeko Suda is a sweet and caring gamer NEET, who shows consideration for the protagonist.
According to the developer’s mature content disclaimer, Neet Girl Rehabilitation Plan will include mild sexual content and descriptions of death and criminal activity.
Neet Girl Rehabilitation Plan is scheduled to release on February 8 for the PC (Steam) and Nintendo Switch.
