In conjunction with this announcement, game designer Yusuke Hashimoto has revealed on Twitter that he is also involved in the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Street Fighter 6, the newest entry in the Street Fighter series, has finally been revealed! <br>I&#39;m pleased to share that I&#39;m working on it as one of the game designers.<br>Please look forward to further news! <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/uPTi7tp958\">https:\/\/t.co\/uPTi7tp958<\/a><\/p>&mdash; \u6a4b\u672c\u7950\u4ecb Yusuke Hashimoto (@yusuke8shimoto) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/yusuke8shimoto\/status\/1495639549170659330?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 21, 2022<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Yusuke Hashimoto worked on the <em>Resident Evil<\/em> franchise and <em>Devil May Cry<\/em> during his time with Capcom. He moved on to the now-defunct Clover Studio before joining PlatinumGames in 2007. Since then, he served as the producer of <em>Bayonetta<\/em>, the director of <em>Bayonetta 2<\/em>, and the co-director of <em>Star Fox Zero<\/em> before leaving the company in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In September 2019, Hashimoto<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/yusuke8shimoto\/status\/1176291270118895616\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> shared<\/a> concept art for an original project drawn by ex-Capcom Tatsuya Yoshikawa, but it seems like he is currently working on <em>Street Fighter 6<\/em> for now. \u201cI\u2019m working on it as one of the game designers,\u201d said Hashimoto in the tweet above. The trailer is in-engine footage, meaning the actual game will likely use this art direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking of game engines, Capcom used Unreal Engine 4 for the previous title, but the company has been expanding the use of their in-house RE Engine, so we\u2019re curious about which game engine is being used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Street Fighter 6 - Teaser Trailer\" width=\"1160\" height=\"653\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qJeSwc3Kamw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The official website for Street Fighter 6 can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/www.streetfighter.com\/6\/en-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>.
