One of the standout features of the game is the feeling of each Pok\u00e9mon being right there in front of you. But when you take too much damage, your vision turns red and you drop some items before waking up at a base camp. Rather than horror, it\u2019s more like showing the dangers of nature and the wild animals within it. Within the game\u2019s world, the idea that Pok\u00e9mon are scary creatures is also prevalent. This kind of world building also drives home the point that Pok\u00e9mon are wild and can be terrifying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Twitter, a number of players have been <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%E3%83%9D%E3%82%B1%E3%83%A2%E3%83%B3%E3%80%80%E6%80%96%E3%81%84&amp;src=typed_query&amp;f=live\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tweeting<\/a> about just how scary Pok\u00e9mon are in <em>Pok\u00e9mon Legends: Arceus<\/em>. And one Pok\u00e9mon that has players all around the world running away in fear is the mushroom Pok\u00e9mon Paras. On Reddit, Paras is being called everything from scary to a nuisance across a number of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/PokemonLegendsArceus\/comments\/sha5ss\/is_it_just_me_or_do_paras_have_an_unnaturally\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">comments and threads<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-reddit wp-block-embed-reddit\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"reddit-embed-bq\" style=\"height:500px\" ><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/PokemonLegendsArceus\/comments\/shjewz\/my_experience_with_this_game_so_far\/\">My experience with this game so far<\/a><br> by<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/user\/MtHammer\/\">u\/MtHammer<\/a> in<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/PokemonLegendsArceus\/\">PokemonLegendsArceus<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/embed.reddit.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"UTF-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Paras appears in many areas from the beginning stages and into later parts of the game. There\u2019s also an Alpha version of Parasect, the evolved form of Paras, in an early part of the game, and players that let their guard down may find themselves surrounded by Paras and Parasect if they get too close. Paras and Parasect are both Pok\u00e9mon that are controlled by the parasitic mushrooms on their backs, which have drained them of all their nutrients. Take Kleavor for example. Each of its arms look like they could chop a person right down the middle. There\u2019s also a scene where it cuts a thick tree in two with a single strike. It\u2019s like something approaching <em>Monster Hunter<\/em> territory rather than Pok\u00e9mon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And then there\u2019s Snorlax. A force of nature that towers over the human characters in the game. Players have taken to Twitter to upload their scary encounters with an Alpha Snorlax. A Pok\u00e9mon normally known for peacefully sleeping in the road, Snorlax now has glowing red eyes and attacks everyone without mercy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/twitter.com\/meat_honobono\/status\/1486911011072327681\n<\/div><figcaption><font size=\"2\"><strong>Tweet Translation:<br><\/strong>Snorlax in Pok\u00e9mon Legends is scary.
