Sega Toys has announced the release date of Astro City Mini V. It\u2019ll come out in Japan on July 28 for 19,580 yen (around $165).

<\/strong>Sega Toys has announced the newest entry in the arcade classics series, Astro City Mini V<\/strong>. It is scheduled to launch in summer 2022 in Japan for 19,580 yen (around $170). The mini cabinet comes equipped with an LCD vertical monitor and includes 22 arcade games from the 80s and 90s.

Astro City Mini V SegaToys.com Set, which includes the base cabinet, Astro City Mini V Game Center Style Kit, Astro City Mini Control Pad, and other items\/merchandise, will also be available in limited supply.

The first Astro City Mini, a miniature Astro City cabinet, initially came out in 2020 with 37 built-in games including Puyo Puyo<\/em>, Virtua Fighter<\/em>, and Wonder Boy<\/em>. It\u2019s a one-sixth scale reproduction of the Astro City cabinet that came out in arcades in 1993.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second entry, Astro City Mini V, comes with fewer titles but is focused on games that were made with a vertical screen in mind, and consists mainly of shooting or action shooting games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cabinet was developed in cooperation with Game Center Mikado, a beloved arcade located in Tokyo, Japan. Mikado provided hard-to-find boards, selected the titles, and arranged the button placement to deliver the optimal experience. The cabinet can be connected to an external LCD display via HDMI. It also features an Easy Save function that allows you to instantly save the game with a single button.
