It follows the East German Army\u2019s 666th TSF Squadron \u201cSchwarzes Marken,\u201d a special task force whose goal is to fight the BETA (short for \u201cBeings of Extra-Terrestrial origin which are Adversary to the human race\u201d) as well as opponents from the corrupt STASI (short for \u201cMinistry of State Security\u201d). Developer \u00e2ge actually considered a Steam release and English localization between the two parts&#8217; release (the idea was also approved via Steam Greenlight), but plans stalled and did not come to fruition at the time. It took some time (at least ten years), but Schwarzesmarken is now finally coming to Steam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Schwarzesmarken: Bloodstained Crest and Schwarzesmarken: The Martyrs are set to release on PC (Steam).
