Players now need at least an Intel Core i5-10500 or Ryzen 5 2600X processor, 8GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT graphics card. Those looking to experience the game at higher resolutions will need an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 6600 graphics card or higher to experience it with recommended specs, or an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or RX 6600 XT to see it in full 4K. Danganronpa 2&#215;2\u2019s file size has also been decreased from 40GB to 30GB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"993\" height=\"533\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 993px) 100vw, 993px\" src=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/20261023-74157-001.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-74159\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/20261023-74157-001.jpg 993w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/20261023-74157-001-768x412.jpg 768w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/20261023-74157-001-380x204.jpg 380w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is far more manageable (and affordable) than the initial requirements, which called for an Intel Core i7-14700 or AMD Ryzen 7 7700 processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 or AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT graphics card, and 32 GB of RAM to run the game on its recommended specs. To put things into perspective, these requirements are closer to the kind of specs needed for graphics- and combat-intensive games such as Capcom\u2019s Monster Hunter Wilds and Onimusha: Way of the Sword.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After fans expressed shock at how high the initial requirements were, Spike Chunsoft <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/danganronpa-2x2s-insanely-high-pc-specs-were-based-on-4k-high-quality-settings-producer-reassures-updates-to-be-made\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">producer Shohei Sakakibara reassured them<\/a> that the specs were set with \u201c4K high-quality settings in mind\u201d and promised that they would be updated.
