  • I finished the main quest of Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker<\/em>. Being able to experience the end of the long running story in real time was a very moving experience.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
    • All I can do is tip my hat to the talented staff that brought all of the previous foreshadowing to its conclusion.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
      • The main quest was amazing, but I was a little bothered by issues with the game\u2019s pace.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
        • The new system where NPCs accompany you on certain quests has a great sense of immersion, but has some issues as well. Since traversal in these quests with NPCs has to be done on foot, it can get annoying.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
          • With the main quest done, I\u2019m trying out the Sage job. Having attacks at enemies be connected to how much healing allies receive makes for an interesting and new offensive style of healer that the game hasn\u2019t had yet.

            • I played It Takes Two<\/em>, the GOTY winner at The Game Awards 2021, with my daughter.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
              • What stuck with me wasn\u2019t just how it brought the concept of being exclusively a co-op game to life, but how well it keeps players from getting confused about the controls and gameplay systems.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
                • At first, I was worried because my daughter doesn\u2019t have much experience with third-person action games, but she was able to play without issue.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
                  • The gameplay has a lot of variety, and the difficulty curve is tuned perfectly. It\u2019s a game with a lot of heart, and where both successes and failures make special memories for the players.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
