The announcement was made via the team\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Acacia_X_Global\/status\/2098245832525185116?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">newly created \u201cAcacia West\u201d X account<\/a>, which will presumably serve as an official channel of communication with international fans going forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The developers bring some exciting news \u2013 localization of the game\u2019s script to English, Spanish and French has been completed. From here, the team will move onto in-game implementation, quality assurance, UI adjustments, and other related tasks. At the same time, Acacia warns that it\u2019s working with a small development team and a limited number of dedicated programmers, so it\u2019s still going to take some time before the devs are able to announce a release schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The announcement also mentions that the translation teams worked closely together with the game developers to ensure a high-quality localization that will make players \u201cfeel the worst,\u201d true to the game\u2019s sadistic nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Acacia will provide a release schedule for Magical Girl Witch Trials\u2019 international versions as soon as it is decided (it was previously tentatively announced for late 2026). In the meantime, the devs have shared work-in-progress screenshots of the game in English, Spanish and French.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1587\" height=\"897\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1587px) 100vw, 1587px\" src=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/202609011-7233-001.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-72337\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/202609011-7233-001.jpg 1587w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/202609011-7233-001-380x215.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/202609011-7233-001-768x434.jpg 768w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/202609011-7233-001-1536x868.jpg 1536w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite releasing exclusively in Japanese and Simplified Chinese, Magical Girl Witch Trials has already <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/magical-girl-witch-trials-sells-over-700k-units-on-steam-and-nintendo-switch-ahead-of-global-launch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sold over 700,000 units<\/a> as of August 31. The game currently holds an \u201cOverwhelmingly Positive\u201d rating on Steam out of over 34,000 reviews, so it\u2019s not surprising that gamers are all but hounding Acacia for additional language support.
