Japanese indie developer STAYRESIDENT has announced Fenestra: my focus, her future<\/strong>. Blending a raising simulator with the mechanics of a focus companion game, the title is currently in development for PC (Steam<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drawing inspiration from the Princess Maker franchise, Fenestra: my focus, her future revolves around raising the titular Fenestra, a cyber girl who suddenly takes residence inside your computer. Fenestra can’t remember anything but her name, and has no knowledge about how human society or emotions work. As you spend time with her and engage in conversations, she gradually begins to learn about the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The story progresses as you raise Fenestra, developing her Intelligence, Sensitivity, and Morality through activities like studying, drawing and reading respectively. Since this also works like a productivity game, Fenestra’s growth is linked to the work you actually do in real life. When you start the in-game Pomodoro timer, Fenestra will work on her own assignments alongside you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides the way you develop her parameters, Fenestra’s growth will also be influenced by the choices you make while interacting with her, with different outcomes to be expected if you treat her as an equal partner or dote on her as a special someone. Depending on your relationship with her and the abilities you focus on, Fenestra can develop into nine distinct personalities, ranging from a “clingy sweetheart,” to an “apathetic geek” or “solitary goddess.” The story offers 20 different endings and is fully voiced in Japanese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apart from the aforementioned Pomodoro timer, the game also comes with to-do lists, a weekly habit tracker, 50 chill and kawaii music tracks, and an ambient sound player to help you focus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As an aside, the game’s scenario was penned by writer Keisuke Makino, known for the light novel and anime series Irina: The Vampire Cosmonaut among other video game and TV credits. Additionally, the game’s OST will include ten tracks by Vocaloid composer adomiori, including the trailer theme song.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
