Original director Kazuya Niino leaves Type-Moon Studio BB"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aniplex announced on August 31 that it would take over as the publisher of <strong>Fate\/Extra Record, <\/strong>a dungeon crawler developed by Type-Moon Studio BB&nbsp;(Notes Co. Ltd.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fate\/Extra Record is a remake of Type-Moon\u2019s dungeon crawler RPG Fate\/Extra, which released for PlayStation Portable in 2010. The game was announced in 2020 and originally scheduled to launch in 2025. However, the launch date ended up being postponed for the following year, and then delayed once more after its original publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/fate-extra-record-delayed-again-bandai-namco-entertainment-will-no-longer-be-the-publisher\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">decided to step down from the role<\/a> in March 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, despite Bandai Namco Entertainment stepping down from the publishing deal, the project\u2019s development itself hadn\u2019t been cancelled. Considering that Notes has now secured Aniplex as the new publisher, it seems like we might get a new release date for the game soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As of August 31, Fate\/Extra Record has a new <a href=\"https:\/\/fate-extra-record.typemoon.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">official website<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Fate_EX_Record\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">X account<\/a>, now managed by Aniplex. The old social media accounts for the title are <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/FateEX_Record\/status\/2094260779310813338?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">scheduled to shut down<\/a> on September 7.
