These revisions appear to apply to the physical editions only, so it&#8217;s not known yet if pricing on Steam will be affected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over on X, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/korindo\/status\/2087830802210128117?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ZUN told players<\/a>, &#8220;I&#8217;ve maintained the same prices all this time, but I&#8217;ve been told that we&#8217;ve reached the limit in terms of production costs,&#8221; suggesting the old pricing might not have been enough for the developers to break-even going forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/korindo\/status\/2087830802210128117\/quotes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">response<\/a>, Japanese Touhou players seem largely in agreement that the games were almost too cheap to begin with, and that the new price is still incredibly low.
