Unlike Chapter 5, which is <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/deltarune-creator-promises-one-more-fun-adventure-like-before-in-chapter-5-causing-fear-about-what-awaits\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">more lighthearted in tone<\/a>, the final two chapters will allow players to \u201csee the results of the setup that has been made so far\u201d without any of the \u201cwacky silly adventures.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In his <a href=\"https:\/\/toby.fangamer.com\/newsletters\/summer26\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">latest Deltarune newsletter<\/a>, Fox says that Chapter 6 will be a \u201cshorter, straightforward chapter that focuses on one aspect of the story.\u201d Because of this, many aspects of the game that players might not realize are missing might come as a surprising twist. \u00a0While Chapter 6\u2019s purported short length might turn some fans off, Fox assures players that they will understand his storytelling methods once they complete Chapter 7 (which will be released separately at a later date).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fox also provided an update on Chapter 6\u2019s development, saying he recently finished writing a few more sequences and rearranged the level rooms to fit the new structure. Once all of these adjustments are made, the dev team will be able to play a rough draft of the chapter from start to finish.
