The HD remaster of kissing RPG EXSTETRA<\/strong> <\/strong>has officially launched on Steam. Developed by Studio Saizensen and published by FuRyu, the original game was released exclusively in Japan for the Nintendo DS and PlayStation Vita in November 2013. To commemorate the modern, global revival, FuRyu is holding a two-week-long sale for the game, with a 20% discount for the base edition and a 14% discount for the digital deluxe edition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

EXSTETRA is set in Amazea, a world where modern-day Tokyo has fused with another realm. The story follows Ryoma, an amnesiac high school student who discovers he is the \u201cPrisma\u201d \u2013 the chosen one meant to save Amazea from its impending doom. Throughout his journey, Ryoma encounters allies (both male and female) who have the potential to aid him in his quest. Ryoma can awaken this potential by kissing them and turning them into Prisma Knights.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Combat is turn-based and allows for\u00a0up to\u00a0four Prisma Knights to be active on the field.\u00a0Aside from\u00a0moves that cost MP,\u00a0EXSTETRA\u00a0features skills that require a unique resource known as \u201cEXS,\u201d which only Ryoma is capable of using.\u00a0Ryoma can share the EXS he accumulates from fallen enemies with his allies by kissing them, which can power them up and turn the tide of battle\u00a0(there is even an auto-battle function in case you want to speed things up).\u00a0Aside from EXS skills, the positioning of your\u00a0Prisma Knights, as well as their equipment and bond with you,\u00a0play\u00a0an important role\u00a0in combat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outside of battle, EXSTETRA allows you to explore familiar Japanese locations such as Shibuya and Akihabara, all of which have become overrun by nature and monsters. You\u2019ll also be able to foster your relationships with your allies, which will make them stronger.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
