The title has since been updated, with several countries (including those mentioned) having been removed from the restricted list&nbsp;(source:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/steamdb.info\/sub\/1537309\/info\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SteamDB<\/a>).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While there is no clear reason&nbsp;as to&nbsp;why the game was banned, many theorize that this was due to Sony\u2019s PlayStation Network&nbsp;(PSN)&nbsp;being unavailable in&nbsp;select&nbsp;countries, as was the case with the Steam version of Helldivers 2&nbsp;back in 2024, when&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamesradar.com\/games\/third-person-shooter\/helldivers-2-gets-delisted-in-more-countries-without-psn-access-blindsided-devs-call-for-it-to-be-available-worldwide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the game was temporarily delisted<\/a>&nbsp;a few months after release.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Pilestedt\/status\/1787073896560165299?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">According to Arrowhead Studios<\/a>, Sony\u2019s planned mandatory PSN account requirement prevented Helldivers 2 from being purchased in unsupported countries.
