Following fan complaints&nbsp;about&nbsp;the game\u2019s&nbsp;\u201csexy elements&nbsp;being nerfed,\u201d&nbsp;Shinku\u2019s&nbsp;shorts and&nbsp;spats&nbsp;in some of her costumes&nbsp;have since been changed&nbsp;to reflect&nbsp;her&nbsp;appearance in promotional materials&nbsp;in&nbsp;other countries. NTE\u2019s global servers are slated to get the&nbsp;Version 1.2&nbsp;update, which includes Shinku&nbsp;and her original designs, on July 9.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"NTE Combat Showcase\u4e28Shinku\" width=\"1160\" height=\"653\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xhtK9ndjYyQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As&nbsp;pointed out&nbsp;by fans,&nbsp;the Dragon Knight&nbsp;costume&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/NTE_Ani_Info\/status\/2073271122578297260?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">removes Shinku\u2019s black shorts<\/a>,&nbsp;revealing&nbsp;the armor plating&nbsp;which is&nbsp;more in line with the&nbsp;skin\u2019s&nbsp;design. The Student of&nbsp;Terrasea&nbsp;costume, on the other hand, completely&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/iKaito_1\/status\/2072960763036385325?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">swaps the spats model for panties<\/a>.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">NTE is no stranger to fan service.&nbsp;Several&nbsp;female&nbsp;characters have costumes that, when viewed from certain angles,&nbsp;reveal they are wearing frilly underwear. One example is&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/EdC2M3BtSdY?si=ojsTcYoHaysZxvy3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Nanally\u2019s&nbsp;The Popular Kid&nbsp;costume<\/a>, which outfits the character in a sailor-style school uniform.&nbsp;Though&nbsp;the&nbsp;costume\u2019s&nbsp;skirt is long enough to hide the character\u2019s&nbsp;private areas&nbsp;in most situations, performing certain actions and using the in-game photo mode allow you to&nbsp;view&nbsp;her from more revealing angles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1466\" height=\"823\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1466px) 100vw, 1466px\" src=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/20260706-69232-001-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-69236\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/20260706-69232-001-1.jpg 1466w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/20260706-69232-001-1-380x213.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/20260706-69232-001-1-768x431.jpg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While\u00a0the changes to Shinku have been welcomed by those who asked for them, others are notably upset,\u00a0arguing\u00a0that the character\u2019s fighting style practiallyrequires her to wear shorts or spats. Since this is the\u00a0Internet\u00a0we\u2019re\u00a0talking about,\u00a0there\u2019s\u00a0a high chance that not everyone will be satisfied no matter\u00a0how many changes are made to the game.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s&nbsp;worth mentioning that the&nbsp;Shinku&nbsp;patch was released just 12 hours after Version 1.2 went live&nbsp;on July 2, which is a&nbsp;rather quick&nbsp;response by the&nbsp;devs&nbsp;at Perfect World to \u201cun-nerf\u201d their newest character.
