You take on the role of the Shunin, a low-ranking public official in the mysterious institution known as the Special District Office. Your job is to oversee all the magicians in the city. This includes keeping a close eye on their administrative affairs, as well as making sure their identities are kept hidden from the public eye. While Erin\u2019s mother is of Irish descent, she was born and raised in Japan. After a chance encounter with her friends Riria and Anna in middle school, Erin discovers her aptitude for an ancient form of magic. Little is known about the Mitsukoe family\u2019s rise to wealth, only that it was due to a sudden surge in the value of their real estate holdings. An urban legend hunter, she tracks down and exposes so-called myths using custom magical tools created by fusing alchemy and science.
