Kamitsubaki Studio has released a limited-time demo for Platonica Space<\/strong>, a new game directed by Kazuhide Oka \u2013 the creator of \u201cOverwhelmingly Positive\u201d indie titles like Natsuno Kanata<\/a> and Girls Made Pudding<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Platonica Space is a 3D psychological exploration game set in \u201cinfinite space.\u201d One day, you  wake up in an unfamiliar room having lost your memories. You walk out of the exit only to find yourself in another room, and realize you\u2019re trapped in a seemingly endless maze of interconnected rooms. As you explore the mysterious space, you run into other girls who, just like you, have no idea who they are or how they got here. It turns out, the rooms are built from your memories. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the\u00a0objective\u00a0of escaping the infinite space, gameplay in\u00a0Platonica\u00a0Space revolves around exploration and\u00a0\u201ctriggering memories.\u201d\u00a0You\u2019ll\u00a0discover\u00a0various items\u00a0as you search the game field, and by\u00a0combining and\u00a0placing them\u00a0in specific spots,\u00a0you\u2019ll\u00a0gain access to\u00a0memories.\u00a0Placing the same item in\u00a0different locations\u00a0can yield different memories, and not all of them will be your own, but those of the other girls trapped in the rooms.\u00a0By sorting through them and figuring out which memories belong to whom,\u00a0you\u2019ll\u00a0slowly unravel the mystery.\u00a0The girls will also offer you hints, although they may or may not be trustworthy.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of note,\u00a0Platonica\u00a0Space comes with a reset mechanic. Each time you fall asleep and wake up\u00a0again, the layout of\u00a0the\u00a0rooms will change together with the positions of items.\u00a0Sleep is regulated through a Sleepiness gauge, which fills up with every action you take while awake. Since\u00a0you\u2019ll\u00a0fall asleep, wake up in a\u00a0completely\u00a0unknown\u00a0space,\u00a0and lose all your items\u00a0each time the gauge\u00a0fills,\u00a0you\u2019ll\u00a0need to carefully plan your runs.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
