Studio head and executive director Masayoshi Yokoyama&nbsp;recently posted a short dev&nbsp;vlog confirming that Shunsuke Daito, who&nbsp;voiced&nbsp;several Like&nbsp;a&nbsp;Dragon characters, will be returning for an undisclosed role.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand, Kazuhiro Nakaya, known for\u00a0major\u00a0roles\u00a0like\u00a0Akira Nishikiyama and\u00a0Ichiban Kasuga, also made an appearance in the dev\u00a0vlog, but\u00a0was confirmed <em>not\u00a0<\/em>to\u00a0be\u00a0appearing in Stranger Than Heaven.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The main focus of the dev\u00a0vlog was on Daito\u2019s character who, according to the VA,\u00a0appears around the middle of Stranger Than Heaven\u2019s main story and \u201cwill turn it (the\u00a0story) on its head\u201d\u00a0(although,\u00a0Yokoyama\u00a0later\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/yokoyama_masa\/status\/2056671798998229372?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">countered\u00a0Daito\u2019s statement<\/a>,\u00a0suggesting the character doesn\u2019t introduce that big of a twist).\u00a0Daito also highlighted that he shares the same surname as the game\u2019s protagonist, Makoto Daito, and\u00a0jokingly\u00a0expressed\u00a0frustration\u00a0at Yu Shirota (Makoto\u2019s VA) having\u00a0a lot\u00a0more lines than him.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Daito (the&nbsp;VA, not the character) provided the Japanese voices of Todo Heisuke in Like a Dragon:&nbsp;Ishin!,&nbsp;Shigeki Baba in Yakuza 5, and Mortimer in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.&nbsp;Like in his past roles, he will be appearing in Stranger Than Heaven only as a voice actor, so the character model&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/yokoyama_masa\/status\/2056763921273700755?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">will not be based on his likeness<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While\u00a0Kazuhiro\u00a0Nakaya\u2019s appearance in the dev\u00a0vlog seemed\u00a0to be happenstance,\u00a0it was enough for\u00a0Yokoyama to confirm that the voice actor will not be appearing in Stranger than Heaven.\u00a0Nakaya would repost the\u00a0announcement\u00a0soon after, confirming his non-appearance before
