Shin Megami Tensei V<\/em><\/strong> version 1.02 update went live on December 3 (JST). The field of view and brightness options were added to the game. There are 11 options for each of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aside from these additions, gimmick adjustments were made to the Demon King\u2019s Castle: 3rd Stratum area. The patch notes<\/a> mention that they reduced the number of gimmicks involving consecutive jumps, which are set right after the 3rd Stratum Stairs Leyline Fount.

<\/strong>Shin Megami Tensei V<\/em> is getting FOV options in a future patch, according to the recent announcement<\/a> made by Atlus. To be more specific, you\u2019ll be able to adjust the field of view for the exploration segments of the game. Brightness options will be added as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aside from these additions, gimmick adjustments will be made to the Demon King\u2019s Castle: 3rd<\/sup> Stratum area. That\u2019s the area filled with wind-blowing devices. The patch notes mention that they are reducing the number of gimmicks involving consecutive jumps, which are set right after the 3rd<\/sup> Stratum Stairs Leyline Fount. It seems like the most platform puzzle-heavy section of the game will be simplified a little. Other minor bug fixes are also on the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shin Megami Tensei V <\/em>launched on November 12 for the Nintendo Switch, and this is the first patch coming out post launch. The schedule for the patch rollout has yet to be announced.
