Japanese publisher Tohakusha just announced their first original game Red Chat Ritual \u2013 TSUMIMI TIME<\/strong>, scheduled to release on Steam, with the launch date TBD. As reported by Denfaminicogamer<\/a>, the psychological horror mystery adventure will feature a blend of \u201clivestream intervention\u201d and deduction-based gameplay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tsumimi is a small, struggling idol live streamer, chasing popularity so that she can literally boost her visibility and hopefully reach her partner Mashiro, who disappeared under mysterious circumstances. You, the player, are one of her viewers, and by picking up hints from her livestreams and surfing the web for clues, your mission will be to solve the mystery of Mashiro\u2019s disappearance and uncover the dark truth behind the idol\u2019s livestream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While you dedicate your mornings and afternoons to digging around social media and fan sites, at nighttime, you\u2019ll be able to directly \u201cintervene\u201d in Tsumimi\u2019s livestream\u2019s using comments and Mega Chats (paid donation messages similar to YouTube\u2019s Super Chats). Through the Mega Chats, you can send \u201ccommands\u201d or \u201crequests\u201d for Tsumimi to perform, and if you pay close attention to her reactions to your prompts, you might be able to pick up some new hints and information about the disappearance incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The game features multiple endings, so the way you interact with the idol, conduct your investigation and make your choices will influence how the story plays out. Each playthrough is around 3 hours of playtime, with 4 to 5 hours to see all the possible endings. As per Steam\u2019s mature content description, the game contains psychological horror alongside depictions of violence and blood, as well as references to self-harm and suicide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
