Electronic Gaming Development Company (EGDC), a Saudi-based investment company, has acquired additional shares in Capcom (source: GameBiz<\/a>). According to a disclosure submitted to the Kanto Local Finance Bureau on April 6, EDCG now owns a 6.04% stake in Capcom after increasing its total number of held shares from 26.78 million to 32.18 million.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founded in 2020, EGDC is owned by Saudi Arabian Crown Price Mohammed Bin Salman through his MiSK foundation. On March 13, it was announced that the fund, which also owns Fatal Fury developer SNK, acquired a 5.03% stake in Capcom<\/a>, crossing the threshold for what\u2019s considered a \u201clarge shareholder.\u201d With the additional acquisition of shares announced today, the fund maintains that the purpose of its holding is \u201cpure investment.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
