Though the post intended to promote OFF\u2019s patch 1.2, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/polloasadoXP\/status\/2038251968137707641?s=20\">several comments<\/a> (particularly those of Fox\u2019s fans from Latin America) pointed out that the game featured <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/LoomingDesastre\/status\/2038017463615463866?s=20\">more language options than Fox\u2019s own titles<\/a>, expressing their dissatisfaction for the limited localization, specifically the lack of a Spanish language option for Undertale and Delatrune. In a recent post on Bluesky, Fox addressed these concerns, apologizing to his fans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, Fox wrote about the apparent lack of Latin American tour dates for the Undertale: The Determination Symphony concerts, while also addressing the topic of Fangamer merchandise shipping costs within the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-bluesky-social wp-block-embed-bluesky-social\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"bluesky-embed\" data-bluesky-uri=\"at:\/\/did:plc:vshnclkqqguyg6xcz6q7g65k\/app.bsky.feed.post\/3mia4smxehk2a\" data-bluesky-cid=\"bafyreibf2hrcxalkfu23fuysvp5l74wg7k5eacoujwx4q4aqgpi3llcb5y\"><p lang=\"en\">A message for my fans in Latin America. Since a lot of Undertale\u2019s narrative, humor, and gameplay hinge on wordplay, a single mistranslation can cause a joke or important story element to be misinterpreted. Likewise, entrusting translations to a localization team without being able to give his own input could be a difficult position from Toby Fox\u2019s standpoint, compromising his creative vision. On the other hand, Fox appreciates Undertale\u2019s unofficial fan translations, which allow the game to be appreciated by those not fluent in Japanese or English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" src=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/20260330-643920001.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-64394\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/20260330-643920001.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/20260330-643920001-380x214.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/20260330-643920001-768x432.jpg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>As for Deltarune, Fox admits that it is currently not feasible for his team to work on other translations besides Japanese and English, as the development time for each chapter would take much longer. While in the past he had looked into various translation options with his publisher, 8-4, &nbsp;to no avail, Fox is currently considering aa different approach, so as not to make anyone feel left out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For fans based in Latin America in particular, Fox states that while he has hardly any involvement with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.undertalesymphony.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Undertale The Determination Symphony<\/a> and has no say in where the concert is performed, he wants fans to know that <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/UndertaleSymph\/status\/2038487037591105611?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the organizers have heard their enthusiasm<\/a> and hopes that they will be able to schedule shows in the region.
