It\u2018s a 2.5D fighting game featuring characters from <em>Dungeon Fighter Online<\/em>, an online action RPG developed by Nexon\u2019s subsidiary Neople. The game is being co-developed by Arc System Works (<em>Guilty Gear<\/em>, <em>BlazBlue<\/em>) and 8ing (<em>MARVEL VS. CAPCOM 3<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"DNF DUEL\uff5cOfficial Trailer\" width=\"1160\" height=\"653\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/7bhnIkpCsWQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Dungeon Fighter Online<\/em> originally launched in South Korea back in 2005 (2010 in North America). As of November 2021, the game has more than 700 million registered users worldwide, with a lifetime gross revenue of over $15 billion. In 2016, it was registered in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.guinnessworldrecords.com\/world-records\/417337-most-played-mmo-videogame-current\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Guinness World Rec<\/a>ords as the \u201cMost played MMO videogame.\u201d The game is highly popular not only in Nexon&#8217;s home country of South Korea, but also in China, the company&#8217;s second-largest market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>DNF DUEL<\/em> was initially revealed last December at a <em>Dungeon Fighter Online<\/em> event held in South Korea (<a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/articles\/newsjp\/20201227-147604\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">related article<\/a>, in Japanese). It features a variety of characters with different classes, each with their own characteristics and traits, including Berserker, Inquisitor, Striker, Grappler, and Ranger to name a few.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The game uses anime-style graphics reminiscent of Arc System Works\u2019 other flagship titles.
